Campaign Coordinator

The Job Window is seeking a candidate for an entry level position to work within the event marketing and planning team at one of the leading event promotions and planning firms in the Chicago area. Our client is looking for an innovative, team-oriented individual who enjoys working with others and maintaining relationships with their prestigious clientele. This position will include working hands on with private promotions, advertising and special events designed and coordinated by the firm. Candidates who show exceptional leadership skills will have the opportunity to be considered for a marketing and promotions manager role. PURPOSE The main focus of this position is to promote our clients' brand names by developing and supporting field marketing programs. You will work closely with event marketing specialists and corporate marketing and sales organizations to support sales activities (shows, events, campaigns, etc.). You will utilize your marketing expertise to help develop and execute marketing programs that will increase customer demand and drive revenue. PRIMARY DUTIES * Impact sales results by developing, supporting and executing field marketing and segment activities * Execute marketing campaigns and plan events * Work with various corporate/field marketing managers to determine customized programs and strategies for various market segments * Coordinate projects to ensure event success * Publicize event and work with the Account Development department to raise awareness and attendance/participation levels of the targeted demographic REQUIREMENTS * Bachelors degree in related field an asset * No office experience required. Full paid training will be provided to successful candidates * A proactive self-starter with the ability to work independently * Strong ability to set priorities, solve problems and be resourceful under pressure
