I was mugged once. The mugger took my credit cards, $80 in cash, a pair of crab-shaped earrings that held sentimental value, and a couple loose Xanax I saved for emergencies.
I now believe everyone who walks down that same street should be mugged.
There should be no safety advancements. No street lamps. No cameras. No better services installed to prevent people from needing to mug others in the first place. Everyone should have my same tough learning experience of being mugged. They should suffer like I did. Otherwise it's just unfair.
How did that sound? Like I was being selfish, cruel, and absurd?
Yeah, well, so do the folks who suggest it's unfair to cancel student debt when some people have already paid theirs off in full.
